Several locals have recommended checking out the Family Restaurant, and I am glad we did! The restaurant has a cozy diner vibe. We were seated within 2 minutes and experienced great customer service from the staff. I ordered the country fried steak, and it was decent. It was reasonably priced for the large portion of the meal.

I was happy with my dish but not happy to be charged 3.95 for onions to be added to my hash hashbrowns. Service was great.Just hope that they do more for staff seeing they don't even discount meals for them.Maybe that's why they are not smiling when working.

Morning crew is awesome, the ladies are so nice and caring. Food is great!!! Great service!!!

It's a family style restaurant and like most restaurants there's a variety of food to select from. The service is pretty good considering they have been short of waitresses. We have been going here for alot of years and will continue to.We know the owner and his family.

I loved this restaurant. The food was good and the employees were very nice. We were in town for just a few days, but we ate at here twice. Portions are big. The coffee is good and hot. I would love to come back to Fairbanks someday and eat here again.

Great, simple food- very tasty! Went a number of times and really enjoyed it. Really enjoyed the soups, the turkey dishes, and the french toast in particular, but all was good. Well worth a visit.

Looking for someplace to eat Sunday night? Try the Family Restaurant. It's a clean place with a great menu and reasonable prices. We were looking for pie and coffee and found it. I had the peach pie she had the lemon meringue. Both were good and the coffee was good too. The place was clean and bright, and the staff friendly . Service was good. We'll be back to try more of the menu next time we're in town.

This little place was not her first, second, or third choice, but it was one of the few places open on a Sunday night at 9:15. There were several people in the restaurant & only a couple of servers so I was concerned... but their orders were coming out lightening fast. It all looked good. We opted for pizza & it took awhile but they make their own crust so that's to be expected. It was delicious- no complaints. Nice servers, great pizza.

Looking for a sit down restaurant, we took the suggestion of giving this place a try. The restaurant was clean and the staff we interacted with were extremely nice. We had a party of 6 , 4 of us had burgers, 1 a hot dog and the other the meatloaf. The person who tried the meatloaf said it was what we from the south consider "Salisbury Steak". The cheeseburgers and fries were quite good. No review beyond "yummy" for the hot dog as that was the 4 yr old review. No pics as we were hungry, so we dug in when the food arrived.
